Leading Edge Physical Therapy is not contracted with any insurance plans. This gives us the freedom to design a treatment plan that is always best suited for you and not based on what your insurance plan will cover.

At Leading Edge Physical Therapy, our goal is to provide the best possible care to get you back to the activities that matter most to you as quickly and safely as possible. By receiving one-on-one, hour long treatments with the same therapist at every visit, you will likely recover quicker and in fewer visits; ultimately, saving you time and money!

Most insurance plans will cover at least a portion of out-of-network physical therapy services (anywhere from 50-100%). Following each of your visits, you will receive an itemized invoice, or Super Bill, that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You can decide to submit after each visit or submit multiple invoices at once. Also, even if your plan does not provide out-of-network benefits, the money you spend on treatments can still count towards your deductible.
We strongly encourage you to contact your insurance provider to learn about your plan’s benefits. We would be happy to assist you in this process!

Leading Edge Physical Therapy is considered a “Non-participating Provider” with Medicare. What this means is that we can treat Medicare recipients and will submit a claim to Medicare on your behalf, but you still pay out-of-pocket at the time of service. Once Medicare has processed your claim, they will send you a reimbursement check for the amount of the services that they cover (usually around 80%).
If you have additional questions regarding coverage for your specific Medicare plan, feel free to contact us and we will do our best to assist you in any way we can.

Great question! Probably the most important part of a successful treatment plan is partnering with the right therapist. For this reason, before we schedule your first visit, we will setup a free call with your therapist to discuss any questions or concerns you may have and determine if we are the right fit for you. If we aren’t the right fit, we would be happy to recommend another clinic that would be better suited for your needs.

Your initial evaluation will last approximately 1 hour. During this time, your therapist will spend time getting to know you, answer any questions/concerns about your condition, assess for any mobility or strength deficits and work with you to create a treatment plan. During this first visit, we will also begin treatment and receive a home exercise program designed specifically for you.
Think of your initial visit as the first step towards building a partnership with a physical therapist who is dedicated to helping you live your best life!

No. In Oregon, physical therapy practices have direct access. This means you can seek physical therapy services without a physician’s referral. If you have a referral, we will still be sure to communicate with your doctor about your care.
